Theme 98: I Don't Live Here But I Wish I Did
Greetings Shutterdayers! First this news! In this place we were going to announce the closing of JPG Magazine, one of the finest photo challenge and exhibits available anyplace in the world (outside of here, of course) But now it appears that there is a glimmer of hope. We CERTAINLY hope this glimmer doesn't come from something like *cough cough nudge nudge wink wink* our merry band of advertisers. Trust us, Shutterdayers, if you have ever wondered what is costs to mount a Canon-Like or Lensbaby-Like ad campaign for your own products or projects here at Shutterday, you can afford it. Remember when you were a child and put stickers of things you liked on other things you liked. Yeah, that's what THOSE are. So let's keep our crooked little fingers crossed for JPG Mag that they can find funding to continue operations but REST ASSURED, SHUTTERDAYERS, the continuation of Shutterday does not depend on FUNDING...only... ...the currency of loooooove. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Shutterday: Congratulations to the winners of the Object at Rest theme and good luck to the Skeleton's not in your Closet participants. As always your voting is encouraged and appreciated. This week's theme: I Don't Live Here but I Wish I Did. (i.e. All Female French Boarding Schools, Places nicer than yours, places it doesn't snow. Just, you know, where you ain't. Next week's theme:I Ate This (Show us what you odd ducks will put in your bills. As if we were going to have you over for dinner or something You must like some photogenic sludge that no one else would generally eat. Show us! Or show us something WE might like.)
